Can I use a Windows 8.1 API in Windows Embedded 8 Standard? -


i trying make embedded music device.

there existing music api use has support windows 8.1 (not embedded). trying figure out if there way me leverage existing 8.1 music api windows offers in embedded solutions. because music device, needs real-time possible. realize there windows embedded compact edition, don't believe able use windows 8.1 sdk in environment. right?

  • would able use 8.1 music api in windows 8.1 embedded standard environment?

  • how responsive embedded standard environment different events occurring in device?

  • is there real-time standard environment extension?

  • is there way can use music windows 8.1 api inside windows 10 iot environment?
