Eclipse icons are very small on high resolution screen - Windows 8.1, Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 -


i trying work eclipse on laptop - 3200x1800 resolution.

a majority of icons practically invisible.

i found 2 discussions on topic:

where can seen open issue in eclipse bug system, yet fixed:

i tried workarounds suggested in both discussions:

  1. using windows xp compatibility mode didn't work me since removed in windows 8.1 eclipse version).

  2. setting lower resolution results in ugly result since laptop configured work high resolution applications.

  3. the solution suggested here -

seemed promising one. however, when observed there new forks github project, , tried newest 1 -

it failed me: managed create jar file instructed , run on eclipse, resulting eclipse.exe fails run message: "the eclipse executable launcher unable locate companion shared library".

by googling 1 found -

eclipse executable launcher error: unable locate companion shared library

which led me conclusion enlarger didn't work correctly. since don't know java yet, i'm bit stuck now.

how proceed here?

alternatively, there solution problem?
