sql server - What is the difference between table and memory optimized table in ms-sql? -


in database have billions of records in many tables when joining these tables proper clause taking cpu, memory , io resources generate required report. search internet optimize table, found converting normal sql table memory optimized table. claiming memory optimized tables faster. have many question in mind after converting table should have update existing stored procs, insertion, deletion , updation same or not. can drop existing normal sql table?

i need expertise understand this.
