node.js - npm command of recognise on Terminal after after messing .bash_profile -


i use mac sierra & have node\npm\brew on year, today after editing of .bash_profile settings learned terminal not recognising npm command, outputs : -bash: npm: command not found

all directories in place, terminal recognises brew, node not npm. don't want uninstall\install npm again in fear of loosing packages.

kindly help.
