zoom - How to find a part of a time series in a similar time series with a different an unknown sampling rate? -


assume 2 time series first of 2 signals similar part of second signal (like same amplitude , harmonic content). 1 xcorr 2 time series if sampled same sampling rate or resample 1 of them if sampling rates different known. if a) sampling rate of @ least 1 of time series unknown , b) @ least first signal not periodic or not sampled long enough have @ least 1 full period, ratio of sampling rates can not determined autocorrelation?

an example 2 channel oscilloscope showing 1 period of signal on first channel , time magnified segment of on second channel , 1 wants calculate zoom factor , delay.
