google chrome extension - How do I get the current active account? -


in google, can sign multiple accounts @ same time.

how current active account? thought use chrome.identity.getprofileuserinfo gets me user of signed-in profile. switching accounts within same signed-in profile not change output of chrome.identity.getprofileuserinfo.
