http code 302 when getting file from Spark UI on Dataproc cluster -


i started dataproc cluster , having problems using web ui on port 4040. first show ip , port displayed spark-shell. show 302 error code when wget url on spark ui port.

wilsonbill522@cluster-db78-m:~$ spark-shell setting default log level "warn". adjust logging level use sc.setloglevel(newlevel). sparkr, use setloglevel(newlevel). ivysettings.xml file not found in hive_home or hive_conf_dir,/etc/hive/conf.dist/ivysettings.xml used spark context web ui available @ http://10.128.0.2:4040

using wget port 4040, response http code 302 every url except "jobs" url example:

wget http://10.128.0.2:4040/proxy/application_1505052986245_0002/static/timeline-view.js

unfortunately can't post output since stackoverflow decides i'm posting links. result of above command http 302 response code.

the above wget executed on master node in different ssh session. 302 response redirects "jobs" url (i can't spell out actual url here since trigger limit stackoverflow places on links) doesn't make sense.

it looks spark web ui formatting urls relative yarn resource manager proxy, using wrong host/port parts of it's display (specifically shown in spark-shell output). i'm guessing artifact of running in yarn-client mode, not yet certain.

as dennis huo alluded to, can access urls redirecting via yarn rm proxy on port 8088.
