Remove auto added "http://" in wordpress user website -


when add website (url) user in wordpress, automatically gets "http://" added start of url. there way stop happening? causing other plugins not function call on user_url need http not present? edit: have tried editing user-edit.php change "website:" field input type text instead of url, no avail. thanks, nick

what plugins causing issues that? works perfect , must not have issues per opinion.

but there 1 trick might work in scenario : using protocol relative urls

so instead of putting user website "www.yahoo.com", try putting "//www.yahoo.com" , see if works you.
