lag - Eclipse Mars running slow -


i running mac os x el capitan. eclipse running slow. scrolling. using macbook's trackpad.

macbook retina 13" 2015 8 gb ram, intel i5 (two cores @ 2.7 ghz)

this has been driving me nuts! seems there bug in eclipse causes lag when redrawing editors when os x using "automatic scrollbars" (see system settings).

i found when changing setting show scroll bars, scrolling performance in eclipse improved.

however, automatic scrollbars, came hack: fire terminal write defaults write -app eclipse appleshowscrollbars always, , scrollbars show eclipse, not other applications.

i hope can others out there too, until problem receives proper fix :-)
